today was one of the times, no i think it was the first, i ate a complete seafood lunch. cause usually i only have such meals for dinners, and yes special occasions. definitely it was some occasion, and that would be CPT CHRIS's last day at ITI. quite sad that he's posting out, though he always suan me haha. one less scrabble kaki already. was at the old turf club, some seafood outlet, and i must say i regretted not having my camera with me cus there was this huge hermit crab they kept as a pet, i thought i wanted to bring it home
had a really healthy conversation cpt rizal on the way home and i thought that what he said was quite true. there will be too much reliance on technology in generations to come, and the worrying thing is that signs of that are already surfacing in the children these days. and that there wont be much emotions involved, in say settling a business deal. it would just be a routine task, with laptops and pdas in front of them, and all that'll be on their mind would be to finish it quickly so that they could rush off for business opportunities. thats quite bad thing
we often see children as young as nine, carrying handphones already and u wonder whether they know what they're playing with. and yes my cousin is one of them. its also increasingly evident that kids nowadays don't even engage in conversations during a family get together, but focusing entirely on some handheld game device. they would miss out alot on what socialising is and i think there's no arguing about it. probably parents should really take note of this
the past two weeks, i've met yet a huge bunch of people. and i think its really nice talking to them cus they're so much older, so the things they talk about is totally different. its really a nice feeling altogether when they show appreciation for what you do for them, a simple act of just remembering who you are, and i think that's what working is about; its not about money or dictatorship or calling the shots. i was glad, i found the real meaning to it
really really judgement day, tuesday.
