2009 has come as a new year, i find myself a changed, renewed person, as if an age-old momument coming to life again. days that have passed us by seem only nostalgic, and as it did so, we see relationships come and go, faces we could once deem as buddies so far away now as it seem both literally and figuratively. however as i despair i'm glad at the same time, sinking into process of maturing with growing up, and i'm happy with that all in all after all...

some random dates, proud moments to remember.

11Jun06 - 15Jun06

Project L.I.F.E 2006. This visit to Khao Lak, Thailand, have certainly left me with nothing but memories, and it struck me so much as to how fragile life is, and how even a smile from our countenances could prove so much to the disaster victims. so short is my stay there, i could only do as much, and wonder in vain how worse can our lives be over here, and hope that whichever force possible to ease their suffering, and hope to return there once more

28Nov07 - 13Dec07

Jungle Survival Course 07.I can say its the toughest experience i've been through in my entire life thus far, having completed the course. and i humbly recognise this feat as something i'll only do once in my life, with a group of 7 people, thrown into the jungles of Brunei for nine days, given only two days worth of food, drinking water collected from rivers murky or clear, scaling the mountains and bashing through the thick jungles. it really tested nothing but my mental strength, and i'm really glad thinking back now, i've made it through

15 March 2008

Commissioning Parade 68/07 OCC. Of course, one of the proudest moments, a moment to remember, being commissioned as an Officer of the SAF. the culmination of nine months of gruelling training, till now, i cant say how much this means to me cause i really don't know, but i dare say i've learnt so much in such a short span of time, and i thought yes, i should encourage my sons next time to go to OCS hahah some torture path

02Oct08 - 09Oct08

Vietnam trip. First ever trip overseas, literally on my own, with t4. it really stirred up my interest in travelling the world next time when i'm older, cause nothing beats visting the places yourself, soaking in others' cultures and definitely taking pictures! its really different, from going abroad when your parents around, venturing about with just a travellers' guide. defintely i'll be anticipating japan.woo huuu

01 December 08
okay, my attainment of my driving licence, and it really means alot to me, cause the process of getting it just is just damn sucky. haha i guess i'll reserve my comments to myself

08 Febuary 2008, ORD.

with a spur of inspiration(:

Stories to remind, as we navigate into the future. Stories that shall not be forgotten. Stories to be told.
I wish for the day time freezes, to relish the smiles on all's faces, thinking that it was all worthwhile.
